The inner child shine

She awakens to the silence she is allowed to exist The world is boisterous, clumsy and incomplete A laughing mountain, her voice like a song  humming the melodies, words of creation She opens herself from the chest first Like a present to the world Unguarded and vulnerable, heart exposed Feeling the absolute temperatures of emotion Shunned by that radiant hope That turned the inner child sour Now it seeks the sun To see to sweeten and shine Slow healing of the child within Blessings of light surround it Still sour but bright like a kumquat Dip them in manuka honey

Manifest Calm

Send you my high vibrations Raise your psyche up Recieve the energy Raise your light and teacup Warm spiced chai with milk Sipped slow at beach sunrise feelings of stress and rush die each sip a wave, that says don't try Wispy seaweed drifting on my heart accepts these tranquil seas My eyes are wet and I believe the air is rich the taste is sushi Tides crash in, floating torii gates Sit it the flood, lock-in Let the water wash over Breathe out as it recedes

A drop on the predictably wet

I fall from the sky with a trillion others Bracing myself as the ground rises up toward me Acceleration into caps of white A sea of indistinguishable units A mist flying up from a moist pavement Dawn light delayed by the thick layers Existential perspiration, no escape from the fold Knuckle down, embrace my murky, brakish brothers Flood waters won't recede floating things break down Underneath, the true wasteland waiting for the drought

Word Brick incantation

Candy colored bricks endless possibilities Snap the words together(lego is) bring me such pleasure Dandy folklore tricked excess moss humility wrap the herd in feathers(pegasuses) Bring me much treasure Wild zippy barefoot free Sunflower summer child unencumbered galaxies(star eyes) swinging in tree canopy Mild trip carefully Thunder's power strum guile Overwondered abraxas(spell dial) No tangible taxonomy

An Exercise of Negativity

Bricks of hatred, jagged stones I hurl Obsidian storm of discontent swirls A scar unhealed sinewy and gleaming I look at the world deaf to it's screaming Abs that shake, can't get myself up You're weak, complacent, not good enough Despair looks back at me through the window at night Not crawler or a flyer just my own face in fright Wake up, find strength, redo the ritual again Strive for the highest til the monster's my friend Until it opposite of the problem Until the negativity bends

Ocean's Edge

Cool winds blow at ocean's edge, calm surf on feet, light splashing No where I'd rather be today, instead my head's a'crashing Somewhere inside this mind lightening is flashing No where to hide from the ocean's teeth gnashing Tumultuous storm overhead hang black clouds This blanket of darkness a silk shroud Something curdles in the sky is an intensity in gray reflecting earthly hardships in the form of old age Thousands of miles away a harbor, I see light Guiding me through the line, shining bright Strong currents pushing me back toward shore Back to the ocean's edge, the one I adore

ILY

I want to pour into you every thought Share with you, be with you as one I want you to pour into me your entirety Pour yourself inside these empty parts Spread through limbs like forbidden art Through ventricles like strange weather Until we might beat together Your warmth that of one thousand suns Might overflow this blessed heart Instead our hearts grow twice in size creating new cavities to flood inside Liquid fission, pour fire, thunder and bluster Blood pumps in out, greed for life we muster Grin for the sinister indecipherable darkness most doubt we even ever harkened Twin flame fire together once more two souls alike but cleaved apart Molten emotions, don't doubt I hear My words make their way to your ears And so Without a doubt I know  I love you.

My pen friend Jen

My Pen friend Jen has helped me write more proficiently She doesn't know what an inspiration she has been My friend Simon, The Duke of Inspiration Thrusts me to push past this stuck floral station My penfriend Jen boosts my creative mastery She is color and sensitivity My friend Simon, brightens my world a light in my darkness, stories unfurl My friend jennifer who widens my awareness To things I am not my mind haven't witnessed My dear friend Simon, thoughtful and caring Sends me lovely blessings, is so reassuring  He has been a good friend, a friend I would like to keep til the end.

Junkman

Junkman, I paid that guy to take my CRT TV Told me it was 20 bucks, couldn't do it for free His frown went to a smirk when I said yes So I left the unfortunate soul with a bayou hex Witch on Rue St. Ann gave me a dolly Stuck a pin in his knee, no more junk hauling Junkman frowned lips sinking to the ground Bung knee he started walking on the frown

Care - ful

Did ya take your meds? Cause I don't want you to die woman on the cell line asked silence was replied Pills spread on purple carpet Eye lids open, close and cry light entering and exiting A life that felt like a lie Black strap epoxy oozed in filling cracks to scrape by everyday in dull gray coloring book pacifier No search for sensation In the neutrality of numb No repreieve, no moon, no sun Coming down from a near overdose "I'll be right over, I'm nearby," said the careful woman on the line In that moment, evil thoughts I'm deserving of the pain I've fraught It all aims inward like demonic needles malevolent day alptraums feed ills

Wanderer

I imagine you smell of the salt in the sea You wandered around could not ever be Sincerely that is who I was and who I am Exposed to winds yet concealed like a clam Free spirit, an eagle, you glide high atop Soaring and diving, avoiding rough chop Feather toward keen talon, eye toward beak Sky trembles spooked, beast of prey shrieks Peek under feather, shuck shell of this pride My bivalve, your secret, a rare pearl is inside

Thirsty Bronwyn

She sat in her office, coffee full of salt. She sat there sipping folly, the customer on hold. Everyday another one, another angry stob. Bronwyn couldn't take another minute of this job. The glass of water she neglected lost it's cool. If only she could see it in fact was half full. Instead she took the glass, pitched it in the sink. Now she's dancing poles Friday nights at Pink's. She spends her hangovers on a walk of shame. When the taxi ride was so steep it'd maim.

The three heads of the hellhound

He barks and paws, he chops with big jaws . Shadow who waits, right at front gates. Ferocious sharp claws, at hell's front door. Three fearsome heads; dusk, day, and morn. Hovering over smouldering iron bars of rust. That dog makes the ego cower in dread. Shadows quiver the vibrations of the dead. Humility fears not of Hades familiar. Arrogance leaches across crooked burnt earth. Humblest man, he'll greet as a friend. Losing his hubris in debris written as his end.
