Balancing expectations

Beautiful words wagon their way out
from the lower lip the lower jaw almost shouting
Someone cares, but life still sits jeering
Intimidating merciless taunting uncaring

Top lip quiet gentle with ease
Quivering soft spoken and subtle tease
Inevitable back step with two steps forward
Prepare for the stumble, reality ordered

Smile forms from meaty lower joy jaw
Too wide and cute causing me to guffaw
The opening of fleshy lips, fall deeper
A beautiful voice manifests then leaps

Polite angelic greeting smacks your face
Heady endorphins flood veins, metallic taste
Observe the sting, chaotic pulse rush flush
Balance the weight, let it flow, untouched
